Description

The ellipses form a quasi-crystalline tiling of the plane. The small grey structure in the middle is created by diffusion limited aggregation (although typically DLA's are larger). The coloring of the surrounding tiles is based on their distance from the DLA.

This picture is made with the same lattice as the blue-green picture with diamond tiles.
