Experiment - Forces Between 2D Emulsions Compressed Beyond the Jamming Point

• We using MRI imaging to visualize the flow of grains around a penetrating object. This work is done in collaboration with Igor Veretennikov at Notre Dame and Peter Schiffer at Penn State. (Click here for website)

Experiment - Fluidity of Sand

• Shearing of fluidization granular media via oscillating a rotating drum apparatus.

Experiment - Jamming of three-dimensional prolate granular materials
