Disparity: ° = mm

DISPARITY VIEWER. Choose one of the three viewing methods. Red-cyan filters are easiest if you have them, but the text gives instructions for crossed- and divergent-eye viewing. Look at the display and drag the slider control (or use the arrow keys) to see how disparity affects apparent depth. The disparity angle and depth are shown to the right. The random-dot (RDS) images show that stereopsis occurs at at an early stage of vision, before shapes are recognized.
Can distorted images fuse to give the impression of depth? Show options, then distort the images to check. Copy this link to recreate your distortion settings.
